Two-Color Riso Print Edition

We are pleased to offer a ‘you-send-it-we-print-it-service’ for easy 11×17 Riso printing. In this model, we rely on you to both ‘trust the process’ and ‘come prepared’ with your files ready to go. We do not provide any separation service or at-length consultation. Risography is an exercise in translation, not 100% faithful reproduction. For any bespoke or complicated printing, feel free to email us!

INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Place an order specifying your paper, ink, and edition options.
2.) Separate your work for Riso printing. If you don’t know how, use Spectrolite to separate your files using our TXTbooks ink palette to preview your work. Feel free to watch this explainer video to get up to speed.
3.) Reference our printing section for any specific other questions.
4.) Email a zipped copy of your print files with black PDF per color and reference full color JPG to studio@txtbooks.us within 24 hours of ordering. Include your invoice # in the subject line.
5.) Receive your prints by mail in roughly two weeks.

SPECS
Please reference our (very thorough) printing section for in-depth details on our specs. Note: If you need full bleed printing cropped down, your art will be resized to 15” max length to accommodate our trimmer. Due to downscaling, no additional fee will be added. If you are looking for 8.5×11 prints, consider ganging up your prints using Spectrolite.

NOTE
You-send-we-print operates on a bi-weekly reserved press schedule for all artists’ prints to be printed together for logistics and affordability. Due to machinery, certain ink drums may be down for maintenance. Please prepare a secondary ink option mentally just-in-case we reach out. You-send-we-print is for the US only. If you are international, consider local options.
